600th Hotel – Indigo Ottawa Joins HAC Green Key Program
The Hotel Indigo in Ottawa became the 600th hotel in Canada to join the Hotel Association of Canada’s (HAC) highly successful Green Key Eco-Rating program, a graduated rating system designed to recognize hotels, motels, and resorts that are committed to improving their environmental performance. “We are pleased to announce our 600th property joining the Green Key program. Our industry’s commitment to improving environmental performance has been outstanding and the Green Key program has been an important tool for hoteliers across the country in achieving our goals,” stated HAC President Tony Pollard. During a presentation at the ACTE (Association of Corporate Travel Executives) PowerTalk Forum on June 12 in Ottawa, Kim Jones, Inn.Keeper of the recently opened Hotel Indigo Ottawa, received a plaque and 3-Key rating.
